KYLE RUDOLPH SWING PLAYERS RANKING RANGE TE NO. 7-

NO. 7 TE Norv Turner's offenses prominently feature tight ends. Rudolph, a fourth-year player whose receptions and receiving yards per game have increased every year, figures to benefit significantly from the slot opportunities likely coming  his way. Expect a career year.

ERIC KARABELL NO. 7 TE He's entering his fourth season and presumably healthy after breaking a foot last November, and I like the upside in Turner's offense; he's been a touchdown maker in the past. The problem? It's hard to see upside for many receptions or yards. Call him a borderline starter for standard fantasy.

MATTHEW BERRY NO. 10 TE I'm writing this before we know who the Vikings starting QB will be, but I don't care because I know two things: Turner and 6-foot-6. From Antonio Gates to Jordan Cameron and a lot of tight ends in between, Norv has always used athletic tight ends well, and Rudolph will be  no exception.

TRISTAN H. COCKCROFT NO. 10 TE Don't invest in inconsistent fantasy tight ends, and Rudolph is precisely that. Over the past two seasons, he had more games with two or fewer fantasy points (11) than he did with double digits (seven). Spend even a 10th-round pick and I promise you'll soon be searching for a more reliable option.

JIM MCCORMICK NO. 10 TE Have you noticed a theme? Rudolph's 2014 prospects are driven by the arrival of Turner's famously friendly scheme for tight ends. The reality is that Rudolph hasn't topped 493 yards in a season, but as another former hoopster with proven red zone skills, he has value at a  shallow position.

CHRISTOPHER HARRIS NO. 11 TE We all know the argument: Turner is friendly to tight ends. Look what he did for  Cameron last year. I definitely see the upside, but with uncertainty still at QB, Rudolph is part of a huge second tier of TEs. I don't think he'll crack the elites.

KC JOYNER NO. 10 TE It is possible that Turner, who helped Cameron become  an impact fantasy  TE last year, could do  the same for Rudolph.  But it would take quite a turnaround to do so; Rudolph has only  21 career vertical receptions and  four career stretch vertical catches in three seasons.
